Terms and conditions for portal use

These terms define eligibility, user responsibilities, payment handling, security expectations, and the legal conditions governing use of the Government ID Management System.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.

2. Eligibility

This website is intended for Government of Nagaland employees and pensioners. Only authorised users with a valid Employee Number or PIMS Number may register and apply through the platform.

3. Registration and user responsibilities

  1. Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and application.
  2. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials from unauthorised access.
  3. Any changes in personal or employment details should be updated promptly through the proper workflow.

4. Payment and refund

  • All identity cards are issued at Rs.100 only.
  • No refund is available where the applicant confirmed incorrect details before payment.
  • In case of payment failure, users must first re-check payment status and then submit refund proof through the prescribed portal process if required.

5. Issuance of ID cards

After successful registration and payment, the card is processed and issued through the relevant nodal officer within the applicable administrative timeline.

6. Authentication

Each Government Identity Card carries a QR code that allows verification of the currently valid card. Re-issued cards automatically deactivate previous versions.

7. Privacy policy

Personal information collected through this website is used only for processing identity card services and is handled in accordance with relevant privacy and data-protection obligations.

8. Security

Reasonable security safeguards are applied, but the portal cannot guarantee protection against all unauthorised access or technical risks.

9. Limitation of liability

The Department of P&AR, Government of Nagaland and its representatives are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from portal use, delays, technical issues, or security breaches.

10. Modification of terms

The department may revise these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the portal implies acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for users who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Gauhati High Court Bench at Kohima, Nagaland.
